“One of South Florida’s most respected lyrical sages, Hollywood resident Jim Wurster, will kick off a new Songwriters in the Round series at Luna Star Café in North Miami at 9 p.m. on Feb. 8. Accompanists will include Karen Feldner, PJ Aviles and Mandy Marylane. With any luck we’ll hear music from Wurster’s excellent new album, “Life,” released in November on Miami-based label Y&T Music.
